Lagan College Science Workshop
On Wednesday 29th May, Mrs Wightman, Dave and Matt from Lagan College came to the school to deliver a workshop to P5 all about air. We had an amazing morning, learning loads of new things about gases, aerodynamics, and reactions. We took part in loads of experiments, such as making a balloon filled with hydrogen pop, see how much air we could get into a long bag with our breath, and even riding a hovercraft! The day finished by creating rockets which we launched into the sky from the playground. Some even flew over the canteen! We had such an amazing day and we would like to thank Mrs Wightman, Matt and Dave so much!
